The minimum qualification for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is also 12th. This is a course of three years duration. The diploma course of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife/Health Worker (ANM) is of two years duration and the minimum qualification is 10th pass. Similarly, some institutes also offer short term courses of Nursing Assistant (General Duty Assistant) , which can be done after 12th.
