In the context of National Education Policy-2020, ICT (Information and Communication Technology) labs are being established in the state with the aim of developing digital literacy among students studying in government schools. So far 3390 ICT labs have been established in the state. Computer labs are being established in schools under this scheme of the Central Government. The work of setting up computer labs through the School Education Department is being done by the districts in a decentralized manner. An integrated monitoring system has been developed in the Vimarsh portal for regular monitoring and monthly review activities of ICT labs. Skills related to digital literacy have become a necessity in today's technological era. In which students can have good career options in future. Keeping this in mind, the syllabus related to the teaching of ICT lab has been determined. ICT related content has been prepared for students of classes 6 to 12. Through ICT lab, students are also getting training in using computers, internet and other digital tools, which has increased the interest of students and teachers towards ICT.
