World's Fastest Maglev Train Successfully Tested in China
China recently conducted a successful test of the world's fastest superconducting Maglev train, which accelerated from 0 to 700 km/h (approximately 435 mph) in just 2 seconds, setting a new world record. This technology could make futuristic high-speed transportation like Hyperloop possible.
Scientists from the National University of Defense Technology conducted the test on a 400-meter track, safely running and stopping the train. This successful trial lays the foundation for ultra-fast transportation, enabling intercity travel in significantly reduced time.
