Visakhapatnam Emerging as India’s AI Capital, Two Lakh Jobs Annually
Around 30 km from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, in the fields of Tarluvada village, a farmer named Suresh greeted us and immediately asked if we were going to the Google site. Soon, we reached the site where engineers were testing soil and bulldozers were leveling the land.
Suresh’s eyes reflected excitement, indicating that something big was about to happen in his village. He also mentioned that the road we took from the highway to reach the site was constructed just in the last two to three weeks.
The initiative is expected to transform Visakhapatnam into India’s AI hub, creating around 200,000 jobs annually and attracting major technology investments.
