Vande Bharat Express to Run with Pilot Vehicle in Kashmir Valley

In Jammu and Kashmir, for the security of the Vande Bharat Express operating between Katra and Srinagar, a pilot vehicle (inspection van) will run ahead of the train.

Under high-profile security arrangements, 8 CORAS commandos will be deployed in each coach of the train. This step is part of strict security measures and a dedicated force of 21 security personnel assigned for the protection of the train.

These arrangements have been made to ensure safe and secure train operations in the sensitive Kashmir Valley region.
