उत्तराखंड कैबिनेट में समान नागरिक संहिता के ड्राफ्ट पर मुहर
उत्तराखंड में समान नागरिक संहिता लागू करने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ रही धामी सरकार ने विधानसभा में विधेयक पेश करने से पहले कैबिनेट के सदस्यों को इसके सभी पहलुओं की जानकारी दी। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की अध्यक्षता में 4 फरवरी को देर शाम हुई कैबिनेट की बैठक में समान नागरिक संहिता के ड्राफ्ट पर मुहर लगा दी गई।
इससे संबंधित विधेयक को विधानसभा में प्रस्तुत करने का अनुमोदन भी कर दिया गया। बैठक में हुआ ड्राफ्ट का प्रस्तुतीकरण मुख्यमंत्री आवास में हुई कैबिनेट की बैठक में मुख्य सचिव राधा रतूड़ी व विशेष सचिव गृह रिद्धिम अग्रवाल ने समान नागरिक संहिता के ड्राफ्ट का प्रस्तुतिकरण दिया। बैठक का एकमात्र विषय समान नागरिक संहिता के ड्राफ्ट पर चर्चा और इसके विविध पहलुओं से कैबिनेट के सदस्यों को अवगत कराना ही था। विधानसभा सत्र आहूत होने के कारण कैबिनेट बैठक के संबंध में ब्रीफिंग नहीं की गई। लगभग 45 मिनट तक चली बैठक में प्रस्तुतिकरण के माध्यम से मंत्रिमंडल के सदस्यों को ड्राफ्ट के चारों खंडों की विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई। बैठक में कैबिनेट मंत्री प्रेम चंद अग्रवाल, सतपाल महाराज, डा धन सिंह रावत, रेखा आर्या, गणेश जोशी के अलावा अपर मुख्य सचिव आनंद वर्धन व सचिव शैलेश बगौली भी उपस्थित रहे।
The Dhami government, which is moving towards implementing the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand, informed the cabinet members about all its aspects before presenting the bill in the Assembly. The draft of the Uniform Civil Code was approved in the cabinet meeting held late evening on February 4 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Along with this, approval was also given to present the bill related to this in the Assembly. The draft was presented in the meeting. In the cabinet meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi and Special Secretary Home Ridhim Aggarwal presented the draft of the Uniform Civil Code. The sole subject of the meeting was to discuss the draft of the Uniform Civil Code and apprise the cabinet members about its various aspects. Due to the assembly session being called, no briefing was conducted regarding the cabinet meeting. Cabinet members were given detailed information about the four sections of the draft through a presentation in the meeting that lasted for about 45 minutes. Apart from Cabinet Ministers Prem Chand Aggarwal, Satpal Maharaj, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Rekha Arya, Ganesh Joshi, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan and Secretary Shailesh Bagauli were also present in the meeting.
