2 फरवरी को फ्रांस की राजधानी पेरिस के एफिल टॉवर में यूपीआई को लॉन्च किया गया। यूनिफाइड पेमेंट इंटरफेस(यूपीआई) का दायर बढ़ गया है। यूपीआई भारत की मोबाइल आधारित भुगतान प्रणाली है। यह ऐसी प्रणाली है, जो कई बैंक खातों को एक ही मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन में प्रदान करती है। 2023 के भारत-फ्रांस के संयुक्त बयान में दोनों देशों ने डिजिटल तंत्र को सुदृढ़ करने की वकालत की थी। बता दें एनपीसीआई इंटरनेशनल पेमेंट्स लिमिटेड (एनआईपीएल) और फ्रांस की लाइरा कलेक्ट ने फ्रांस और यूरोप में यूनिफाइड पेमेंट इंटरफेस (यूपीआई) को लागू करने के लिए एक समझौते का करार किया है।
