मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी श्री अनुपम राजन ने बताया कि आदर्श चुनाव आचरण संहिता लागू होते ही सी-विजिल एप पर शिकायतें प्राप्त होने लगी हैं। 22 मार्च तक प्रदेश के सभी जिलों से इस एप के माध्यम से कुल 173 शिकायतें प्राप्त हो चुकीं हैं। इन सभी शिकायतों का त्वरित निराकरण कर दिया गया है। श्री राजन ने प्रदेश के नागरिकों से अनुरोध किया है कि यदि वे निर्वाचन में आदर्श आचार संहिता के उल्लंघन से जुड़ी किसी भी प्रकार की सीधी शिकायत करना चाहते हैं, तो वे सी-विजिल एप के माध्यम से कर सकते हैं। इसके लिए संबंधित नागरिक को गूगल प्ले स्टोर पर जाकर सी-विजिल एप डाउनलोड करना होगा। इसके लिए नागरिक को ऐसी किसी भी घटना की जानकारी होने पर फोटो या वीडियो सी-विजिल एप पर अपलोड करना होगा। शिकायत मिलने पर अगले 100 मिनट के भीतर कार्यवाही की जाएगी।
Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan said that as soon as the Model Code of Conduct came into force, complaints started being received on the C-Vigil app. Till March 22, a total of 173 complaints have been received through this app from all the districts of the state. All these complaints have been resolved promptly. Shri Rajan has requested the citizens of the state that if they want to make any direct complaint related to violation of the Model Code of Conduct in elections, they can do so through the C-Vigil app. For this, the concerned citizen will have to go to Google Play Store and download the C-Vigil app. For this, whenever a citizen gets information about any such incident, he will have to upload a photo or video on the C-Vigil app. After receiving the complaint, action will be taken within the next 100 minutes.
