On February 10, a mega solar energy park with a capacity of 1.2 gigawatts is being developed over 4,200 acres in Solapur district, Maharashtra. The park is being developed in collaboration with a leading multinational company from the United Kingdom. Hajoor Multi Projects Limited (HMPL) is developing Maharashtra's first solar park, which includes 1,200 megawatt projects in Maharashtra and 500 megawatt projects in Andhra Pradesh.
