American Gymnast Simone Biles Wins Two Awards

American gymnast Simone Biles won two awards at the 2025 ESPY Awards. She received honors for "Best Championship Performance" and "Best Athlete – Women's Sports".

Simone Biles’ Olympic Achievements

Simone Biles had a spectacular performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics, winning a total of three gold medals and one silver medal. She clinched gold in the team final, women’s all-around, and vault events, and secured silver in the women’s floor exercise.

With these medals, her total Olympic medal count has reached 11, the most by any American gymnast in history.

Other Major Honors

In addition to her Olympic success, Simone Biles also won the prestigious 2024 Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year award. Earlier, in 2022, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by U.S. President Joe Biden.
