Shivsubramanian Raman Assumes Charge as PFRDA Chairman

On June 20, 2025, Shivsubramanian Raman officially assumed the role of Chairman of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). His appointment was announced by the Government of India.

As per the government notification, Raman will serve in this capacity for a period of five years or until he attains the age of 65, whichever comes earlier.

PFRDA is the regulatory body responsible for promoting, regulating, and developing the pension sector in India.
