Shivam Lohakare Becomes Second Youngest Indian to Throw Javelin Over 80 Meters

Inspired by Neeraj Chopra, Shivam Lohakare, who took up javelin throwing as a career three years ago, is now following in Chopra's footsteps. At just 20 years old, Shivam has become the second youngest Indian athlete to throw the javelin over 80 meters. He achieved this feat in his hometown, Sonaai village in Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra. Shivam, who started throwing javelin in seventh grade, was encouraged by his Physical Education teacher. He is now following the path laid by Neeraj Chopra, who also threw the javelin over 80 meters at a similar age.
