Shajapur: CM Mohan Yadav Lays Foundation of ₹8,174 Crore Solar & Infrastructure Projects
On 16 November 2025, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation for industrial and infrastructure projects worth ₹8,174 crore in Maksi, Shajapur district, Madhya Pradesh. The key projects include:
- Jackson Group's 6 GW integrated solar manufacturing unit worth ₹8,000 crore – the largest green energy project in the state, expected to generate around 4,000 jobs.
- Ujjain–Maksi four-lane project worth ₹273 crore.
This initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening industry, road networks, and green energy infrastructure in the state.
Farmer Relief of ₹39.50 Crore
The Chief Minister also addressed a roadshow and public meeting in Maksi and transferred relief funds of ₹39.50 crore directly into the bank accounts of 60,000 farmers affected by natural disasters.

CM Mohan Yadav criticized Congress and Rahul Gandhi, stating that Congress has opposed Shajapur for years, but now rapid development is underway. He highlighted divisions within Congress and remarked on Rahul Gandhi’s leadership issues.
