Scientific Experiments Become Digital: Expensive Lab Equipment and Virtual Clones Created

On February 24, students will no longer need large labs to conduct expensive scientific experiments. Kalam Centre and Homie Lab have developed a Virtual Reality (VR) platform that allows students to easily perform science experiments. This will make learning easier and give students the experience of working in a real lab.

Virtual Labs Created Using VR and AI

Dr. Abdul Kalam's advisor, Srijan Pal Singh, has created a lab using virtual reality and AI for 20 types of biology, physics, and chemistry experiments. Expensive machines like MRI machines, X-rays, and diffraction machines have been digitally cloned for this purpose.

According to Singh, the AI-based virtual lab instructor will guide students at every step. Students will be able to perform these experiments in any language, and the results will be the same as physical labs.

Digital Clones at Only 1% of Physical Lab Costs

Digital clones can be created for only 1% of the cost of setting up physical labs. Many science students across India have only read about expensive scientific experiments in books due to a lack of modern labs in their areas. Now, through digital clone technology, these experiments will be accessible to students in smaller cities and villages.

Education Becoming Practical and Technology-Based

Under the New Education Policy 2020, education is being made more practical and technology-based. With the new virtual lab system, students will learn by doing experiments rather than just reading from books. This will increase their interest in science and engineering and bring a major shift in the education system.

New MSME Development Policy 2025 for Economic Empowerment

On February 18, 2025, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, approved the MP MSME Development Policy-2025 and the Start-Up Policy & Implementation Plan-2025. This aims to empower the state economically and make it self-reliant.

Investment and Export Incentives

The MP MSME Development Policy-2025 offers 40% assistance for investment, promotes renewable energy in new industries, and provides 48% assistance for SC/ST and women entrepreneurs. It also provides incentives for export, including 52% investment assistance, a maximum of ₹2 crore for freight, and ₹50 lakh for export certificates.

Encouraging Skill Development and Employment Generation

Medium-sized units providing more than 100 jobs will receive 1.5 times the subsidy. Skill development training will receive ₹13,000 per person under the policy.

Support for Service Sector

For the first time, the service sector will receive support for areas like logistics, recycling, vehicle scrapping, and R&D. A special package for medical devices and footwear has also been introduced under this policy.

Special Provisions for Start-Ups in Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh Start-Up Policy offers special provisions for product-based start-ups, including electricity fee exemptions and job creation incentives. Start-ups will also receive financial support of ₹10,000 per month for 12 months and up to ₹30 lakh in seed funding. The policy also provides digital marketing and event participation assistance.

New Industrial Land Allocation Process

The Madhya Pradesh government has also approved a new online bidding system for the allocation of industrial land and buildings. This will make land allocation transparent, efficient, and fast.
