Sayami Kher Named Official Ambassador of Ironman India
On October 6, Indian actress and athlete Sayami Kher was announced as the official brand ambassador for Ironman India. She earned this recognition after completing two grueling Ironman 70.3 triathlons in less than a year.
Sayami, known for her performances in films such as Ghoomer, Choked, Jaat, and 8 A.M. Metro, completed her first Ironman 70.3 in September 2024 and the second in July 2025. According to a press release, she is the only Indian actress to have achieved this feat.
The Ironman 70.3, also known as the Half Ironman, is one of the world’s toughest endurance races. Participants must complete a total of 70.3 miles (113 kilometers) in a single day, including:
- 1.9 kilometers of swimming
- 90 kilometers of cycling
- 21.1 kilometers of running
Sayami’s appointment as Ironman India's ambassador reflects her inspiring dedication to fitness, discipline, and pushing personal boundaries — traits celebrated by the global Ironman community.
