Sarojini Padmanathan Appointed CEO of Hindu Endowments Board, Singapore
The Hindu Endowments Board (HEB) of Singapore has appointed Sarojini Padmanathan as its new CEO. She has a 40-year career strengthening hospitals and healthcare services and will now oversee major Hindu temples and programs related to Indian culture.
HEB, a statutory body managing key Hindu temples in Singapore, appointed Padmanathan to lead public service initiatives. During her career, she played a crucial role in hospital restructuring in the 1990s and strengthening organizational operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Padmanathan has held senior positions in the Ministry of Health and Health Sciences Authority, leading workforce development in medical, nursing, and administrative sectors. Previously, she served as HEB’s Finance Member, contributing significantly to financial administration and maintaining deep engagement with the board's operations.
The Hindu Endowments Board manages major Hindu temples in Singapore, including Sri Mariamman Temple and Sri Sivan Temple, and oversees cultural and religious programs for the Indian community.
