Sanjog Gupta Appointed as CEO of the International Cricket Council

Indian broadcaster Sanjog Gupta has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Announcing his appointment, ICC Chairman Jay Shah stated that Mr. Gupta brings with him a wealth of experience in sports strategy and commercialization, which will be invaluable for the ICC. He further mentioned that after considering several exceptional candidates for the CEO position, the ICC's nomination committee unanimously recommended the name of Sanjog Gupta.

Having started his career as a journalist, Mr. Gupta later worked with multiple broadcasting organizations and expanded his sports portfolio with multilingual, digital-first, and women-centric coverage.
