वैश्विक व्यवस्था चाहे जैसी भी हो भारत और रूस आपसी हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए दीर्घकालिक परियोजनाओं को जमीन पर उतारने में जुटे हुए हैं। इस लिहाज से 27 दिसंबर को मास्को में विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर और रूस के विदेश मंत्री सर्गेई लावरोव के बीच हुई बैठक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण मानी जाएगी।

मेक इन इंडिया के तहत बनेंगे हथियार जयशंकर और लावरोव की वार्ता कारोबार और कनेक्टिविटी पर केंद्रित रही। इस बैठक में रूस को भारत के दो मार्गों (पश्चिमी तट और पूर्वी तट) से जोड़ने की योजना पर बात काफी आगे बढ़ी है। इतना ही नहीं, रूस ने कहा है कि वह 'मेक इन इंडिया' पहल के तहत आधुनिक हथियारों का उत्पादन करने के लिए तैयार है। विदेश मंत्रियों की यह बैठक दोनों देशों के प्रमुखों (भारत के प्रधानमंत्री और रूस के राष्ट्रपति) के बीच होने वाली सालाना बैठक की जगह हुई है। पिछले दो वर्षों से यह शिखर बैठक नहीं हुई है, जिसके अगले वर्ष होने की संभावना विदेश मंत्री जयशंकर ने जताई है।

जी20 को लेकर भी बातचीत हुई बैठक के बाद मीडिया से बातचीत में जयशंकर ने कहा कि रूस एक रणनीतिक साझेदार है, जिसके साथ अंतरराष्ट्रीय हालात व मौजूदा परिस्थितियों पर बात हुई है। साथ ही हिंद-प्रशांत क्षेत्र की स्थिति, यूक्रेन विवाद, गाजा के हालात, अफगानिस्तान के अलावा शंघाई सहयोग संगठन, ब्रिक्स, जी-20 व संयुक्त राष्ट्र जैसे संगठनों के बारे में बात हुई है। भारत व रूस इन चारों संगठनों के सदस्य हैं। जयशंकर ने आगे कहा, हमारे बीच आर्थिक सहयोग, ऊर्जा कारोबार, सैन्य सहयोग पर भी बात हुई है। दोनों देशों के विदेश मंत्रालयों के बीच 2024-2028 एजेंडे पर हस्ताक्षर हुए हैं। भारत व रूस के विशेष रणनीतिक रिश्ते को बहुत ही ठोस व स्थिर बताते हुए जयशंकर ने कहा कि इस साल यह हमारे बीच सातवीं बैठक है।

There was also discussion regarding G20 Talking to the media after the meeting, Jaishankar said that Russia is a strategic partner, with whom the international situation and current circumstances were discussed. Apart from this, there was talk about the situation in the Indo-Pacific region, Ukraine dispute, situation in Gaza, Afghanistan and organizations like Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BRICS, G-20 and United Nations. India and Russia are members of these four organizations. Jaishankar further said, we also discussed economic cooperation, energy trade, military cooperation. The 2024-2028 agenda has been signed between the foreign ministries of the two countries. Describing the special strategic relationship between India and Russia as very solid and stable, Jaishankar said that this is the seventh meeting between us this year.
