RAW Chief Parag Jain Also Given Additional Charge of Security Secretary

Following the car blast in Delhi, Indian agencies have been put on high alert. On 12 November, the central government called a cabinet meeting in response to the incident. Several security-related decisions were taken during the meeting.

However, the most discussed decision was regarding the appointment of Parag Jain, Director of India's intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). IPS officer Parag Jain has now been given additional charge as Secretary (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat alongside his role as RAW Chief.

After the Delhi incident, this appointment of Parag Jain is considered highly significant. He played a crucial role in Operation Sindoor, gathering ground intelligence effectively.
