Ramkrishna Kusmaria Appointed Chairman of Backward Classes Welfare Commission

Dr. Ramkrishna Kusmaria, a former Member of Parliament and former minister, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Commission. Previously, on 13 December 2023, he had taken charge as the Chairman of the MP State Backward Classes Commission.

Mausam Bisen, daughter of former minister Gaurishankar Bisen, has been appointed as a member of the same commission.

Notably, Madhya Pradesh now has two separate commissions for the welfare of backward classes — the State Backward Classes Commission and the Backward Classes Welfare Commission.
