India's technology industry body Nasscom on August 21 announced the appointment of Rajesh Nambiar as its president, replacing Debjani Ghosh, whose term will complete in November 2024. Nambiar was elected as Nasscom president in 2023. He will leave global technology major Cognizant, where he is currently India president, at the end of September. Nambiar has previously led global teams at large IT companies including Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), IBM and Ciena.
