PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana Portal Launched
The PM Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBRY), launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 15, 2025, is a major employment promotion initiative aimed at generating 3.5 crore jobs from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2027.
Under this scheme, first-time job seekers in the private sector will receive a monthly incentive of ₹15,000, while employers can receive up to ₹3,000 per month as financial support. To apply, eligible beneficiaries must complete EPFO registration and UAN activation, along with meeting other eligibility criteria.
This ₹1 lakh crore budget scheme aims to empower India’s youth and boost private sector employment across MSMEs, manufacturing, services, and technology sectors. The initiative is a direct employment-linked incentive program being implemented through the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
It is designed to benefit both employees and employers, with a strong focus on first-time workers in the private sector and organizations that hire them.
