PM Modi to Launch First River Linking Project in Jaipur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a 'Year-End Performance Excellence' program in Dadiya, Jaipur, on December 17. During the program, he will lay the foundation stone for the 'Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project' (PKC-ERCP).

He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for projects worth a total of ₹45,000 crore. The Prime Minister will inaugurate 24 projects valued at ₹46,300 crore, including 9 projects costing over ₹11,000 crore, 7 of which are central government projects and 2 are state government projects. He will also lay the foundation stones for 15 projects worth more than ₹35,300 crore, including 9 central government projects and 6 state government projects. The inaugurated projects include the Navnera Barrage, Smart Electricity Transmission Network, Asset Management System Projects, and Railway Electrification of the Bhildi-Samadri-Luni-Jodhpur-Merta Road-Degana-Ratangarh section. Additionally, the Delhi-Vadodara Greenfield Alignment (NH-148N) project, including Package 12 of the major bridge over the Meja River, will also be inaugurated.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation for the construction of the Ramgarh Barrage and Mahulpur Barrage, worth over ₹9,400 crore, and the system to supply water from the Navnera Barrage to the Bisalpur Dam and Isarda Dam through an aqueduct on the Chambal River.

Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate projects related to solar energy, including the installation of solar energy plants on government office building rooftops, the development of a 2000 MW solar park in Pugal (Bikaner), and two phases of 1000 MW solar parks. He will also lay the foundation for retrofitting the potable water transmission lines from Saipau (Dholpur) to Bharatpur-Dig-Kumher-Nagar-Kama and Pahadi as well as Chambal-Dholpur-Bharatpur regions.

Other key infrastructure initiatives, including the Luni-Samadri-Bhildi double line, Ajmer-Chanderia double line, and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur double line railway projects, as well as other energy transmission-related projects, will also be inaugurated and laid by the Prime Minister.
