PM Modi to Hoist Dharma Flag at Ram Temple on November 25

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist a 21-foot tall Dharma flag atop the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on November 25, 2025. Officials announced this on October 9. According to Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Ram Temple Construction Committee, this event will mark the official completion of the temple's construction.

Speaking to journalists, Mishra confirmed PM Modi’s visit and called the event “historic.” He said that through the hoisting of the Dharma flag, the Prime Minister will send a message to the world that the long wait is over and a centuries-old dream rooted in faith has come true.

The flag hoisting ceremony will be held on the auspicious occasion of Ram Vivah Panchami. Earlier, on August 5, 2020, PM Modi performed the Bhoomi Pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) of the temple, and on January 22, 2024, he attended the Ram Lalla Pran-Pratishtha (consecration ceremony).

Mishra confirmed that the main temple structure is “almost complete.” The outer wall is in its final stage, while other components such as the Sheshavatar temple, Sapt Mandapam, and the Pushkarini (sacred pond) have been completed.

Prior to the main event, from November 21 to 25, scholars and saints from Ayodhya and Kashi will conduct a five-day Vedic ritual at the temple. The construction committee concluded in its recent meeting that the progress of construction is satisfactory. The meeting was attended by Ram Mandir Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, Trustee Anil Mishra, and Construction Head Gopal Rao.
