He emphasized AI for the welfare of the global community and called for better global coordination on the subject. This call was made by PM Modi at the third AI Action Summit held in Paris, where he co-chaired the conference with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The meeting was considered significant in the context of China's recent achievements in the AI sector. It was hoped that a shared roadmap for addressing the challenges posed by AI's emergence would be formulated among Western democratic nations. However, it became evident from the first day of the summit that there are significant differences between the United States and European countries regarding AI regulation. The United States has opposed excessive regulation of AI.
