On April 23, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh has been granted approval for the PM MITRA Park project with an investment of ₹2,100 crore. This project, approved by the Ministry of Textiles, will be the first of its kind integrated textile park in India, to be developed in the state.

The PM MITRA Park will span 2,100 acres in Bhainsola village, Badnawar tehsil, Dhar district. The park will feature a 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, solar energy-based power plants, plug-and-play units, and residential facilities for workers. All construction work is targeted to be completed within 14 months.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that this project will not only enhance the state's industrial capacity but also make India's textile sector globally competitive. He further stated that the park will open new horizons for employment and investment in the state.

Applications for land allocation for the PM MITRA Park will be invited soon. So far, investment proposals worth ₹10,000 crore have been received, indicating the enthusiasm of the industrial sector.
