1.52 Lakh Companies in MP and Chhattisgarh Ordered to Reveal Owner Details

In a significant move towards business transparency, the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has issued a directive to over 1.52 lakh private companies and factories across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to publicly disclose their ownership information.

This includes 23,000 companies from Bhopal alone. The directive mandates employers to submit full details about company owners within 15 days.

The EPFO aims to enhance accountability and streamline regulatory compliance by ensuring that ownership details are clearly documented and accessible. Companies failing to comply may face strict legal and administrative actions.
