बैठक में नरसिंहगढ़ अभयारण्य, पन्ना टाइगर रिजर्व, सतपुड़ा-मेलघाट टाइगर रिजर्व, वीरांगना दुर्गावती अभयारण्य, राष्ट्रीय चंबल अभयारण्य, बगदरा अभयारण्य, संजय टाइगर रिजर्व, सोन घड़िया अभयारण्य, कान्हा टाइगर रिजर्व, गांधी सागर अभयारण्य के क्षेत्रों में होने वाले विभिन्न प्रकार के निर्माण कार्यों के लिए वन्य प्राणी संबंधित अनुमतियों पर विचार-विमर्श हुआ। बैठक में बताया गया कि प्रदेश में गिद्धों की संख्या में वृद्धि हुई। इस वर्ष के प्रारंभिक ग्रीष्म कालीन आंकलन अनुसार गिद्धों की संख्या 10 हजार 845 हो गई है। कूनो राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के चीता पुनर्वास प्रोजेक्ट में चीतों कुल संख्या 26 हो गई है, जिनमें 13 व्यस्क तथा 13 शावक हैं। गांधी सागर अभयारण्य चीता पुर्नस्थापन के लिए तैयार है और सतपुड़ा से 50 गौर बांधवगढ़ ले जाने की योजना है।
In the meeting, various types of construction to be done in the areas of Narsinghgarh Sanctuary, Panna Tiger Reserve, Satpura-Melghat Tiger Reserve, Veerangana Durgavati Sanctuary, National Chambal Sanctuary, Bagdara Sanctuary, Sanjay Tiger Reserve, Son Ghadiya Sanctuary, Kanha Tiger Reserve, Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary were discussed. There was discussion on permissions related to wild animals for the works. It was told in the meeting that the number of vultures has increased in the state. According to the initial summer assessment of this year, the number of vultures has increased to 10 thousand 845. The total number of cheetahs in the Cheetah Rehabilitation Project of Kuno National Park has increased to 26, of which 13 are adults and 13 are cubs. Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary is ready for cheetah rehabilitation and there is a plan to move 50 Gaurs from Satpura to Bandhavgarh.
