उप मुख्यमंत्री श्री राजेंद्र शुक्ल ने डीईआईसी (डिस्ट्रिक्ट अर्ली इंटरवेंशन सेंटर) भोपाल से प्रदेश में जापनीज़ इन्सेफेलाइटिस टीकाकरण अभियान का शुभारंभ किया। उप मुख्यमंत्री श्री शुक्ल ने उपस्थित जन को जापनीज़ इन्सेफेलाइटिस (दिमाग़ी बुख़ार) के प्रति जागरूकता लाने और टीकाकरण अभियान में सहयोग करने का संकल्प दिलाया। उप मुख्यमंत्री ने टीकाकरण अभियान के पोस्टर का विमोचन किया और टीकाकृत बालकों को प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किये। अभियान में भोपाल, नर्मदापुरम, इंदौर और सागर ज़िलों के 1 वर्ष से 15 वर्ष की उम्र के लगभग 37 लाख बच्चों का टीकाकरण किया जाएगा। विगत वर्ष विदिशा एवं रायसेन ज़िलों में टीकाकरण किया गया था। शासकीय और चिन्हित निजी चिकित्सकीय संस्थानों में जापनीज़ इन्सेफेलाइटिस का निःशुल्क टीकाकरण किया जाएगा। उप मुख्यमंत्री श्री शुक्ल ने डीईआईसी, भोपाल का निरीक्षण किया और व्यवस्थाओं की सराहना की।
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla launched the Japanese Encephalitis vaccination campaign in the state from DEIC (District Early Intervention Centre) Bhopal. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla pledged to the people present to create awareness about Japanese Encephalitis and cooperate in the vaccination campaign. The Deputy Chief Minister released the poster of the vaccination campaign and gave certificates to the vaccinated children. About 37 lakh children in the age group of 1 year to 15 years from Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Indore and Sagar districts will be vaccinated in the campaign. Last year, vaccination was done in Vidisha and Raisen districts. Free vaccination against Japanese encephalitis will be given in government and identified private medical institutions. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla inspected DEIC, Bhopal and appreciated the arrangements.
