29 दिसंबर को देवी अहिल्याबाई होलकर अंतरराष्ट्रीय एयरपोर्ट पर ई-वीजा की स्वीकृति मिल गई है। अब अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों से इंदौर आने वाले यात्रियों को ई-वीजा होने पर उतरने की अनुमति मिलेगी। यात्रियों के लिए फिजिकली कापी की जरूरत नहीं होगी। इससे पहले इंदौर एयरपोर्ट पर वीजा की फिजिकल कापी होना अनिवार्य था। नए साल से एयरपोर्ट पर डिजी यात्रा की सुविधा भी शुरू हो जाएगी। इसकी प्रक्रिया शुरू हो चुकी है।

डिजी यात्रा एक ऐसी टेक्नोलाजी है, जो बोर्डिंग प्रक्रिया को काफी तेज और ज्यादा सहज बना देती है। इससे हर यात्री को हर टच प्वाइंट पर तीन सेकंड से भी कम समय लगता है। इसमें आपका चेहरा ही आपकी पहचान होगा, जो डाक्यूमेंट जैसे आइडी प्रूफ, वैक्सीन प्रूफ और बोर्डिंग पास के रूप में भी काम करेगा। नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय ने घरेलू विमान सेवाओं के लिए डिजी यात्रा सेवा एप की शुरुआत करने की अनुमति दी है। इसके साथ ही इसकी प्रक्रिया भी शुरू कर दी गई है।

Approval for e-Visa has been received at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport on 29th December.
