Nikhil Ravishankar Appointed as Air New Zealand CEO

On July 30, Air New Zealand announced the appointment of Nikhil Ravishankar, who is of Indian origin, as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Currently serving as the airline's Chief Digital Officer, Ravishankar will take over from Greg Foran on October 20, 2025.

According to a report by the New Zealand Herald, Foran had announced in March that he would resign from his position as head of Air New Zealand. Ravishankar has been associated with the airline for nearly five years, during which he has overseen significant advancements in digital infrastructure, customer experience, and loyalty programs.
