Access to Mahakal Lok to Become Easier: 710-Meter New Road to Be Built up to the Corridor
A new road leading to the Mahakal Lok Corridor is under construction to make travel smoother for devotees visiting Ujjain’s famous Mahakaleshwar Temple. The upcoming road will be 710 meters long and 22.18 meters wide, improving connectivity and easing crowd movement in the temple area.
Project Details and Timeline
This development project, costing around ₹63 crore, aims to enhance access to one of India’s most revered religious destinations. According to officials, the construction will be completed by June 2027. Once finished, the route will provide direct and hassle-free access to the Mahakal Lok Corridor, benefiting thousands of pilgrims daily.
The initiative is part of Ujjain’s broader infrastructure improvement plan to support the growing number of tourists and devotees visiting the Mahakal Lok Corridor since its inauguration.
