National Games: Madhya Pradesh Now with 50 Medals
Impressive performance by Madhya Pradesh athletes continues. On Saturday, Madhya Pradesh won 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals, bringing the total number of medals to 50. This includes 19 golds, 13 silvers, and 18 bronzes.
On February 8, Neha Yadav won the first silver in modern pentathlon, followed by Diksha winning the second silver in the 1500-meter race, and the third silver was won by Ritee Ohre in the same event. The first bronze was won by Vinod Singh in the 10,000-meter race, and the second bronze was claimed by Aditya Prajapati in taekwondo. Madhya Pradesh remains in the top 4 of the medal tally.
The Services Sports Control Board holds the first place with 71 medals (42 gold), Karnataka is in second with 58 medals (30 gold), and Maharashtra is in third place with 113 medals (25 gold).
