MP Panchayat Secretaries to Receive Special Allowance of ₹1,300
During the MP Panchayat Secretary Mega Conference 2026 held in Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced several key measures for Panchayat Secretaries, including an extension of service age to 62 years, provision of special allowance, and implementation of 7th pay commission orders.
The conference was held at BHEL Dussehra Grounds in Bhopal and attended by Panchayat Minister Prahlad Patel and other senior officials. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state government has increased the service age limit for Panchayat Secretaries to 62 years. He also mentioned that orders for the 7th pay commission have been effective since 13 September 2023. In addition, Panchayat Secretaries will receive a special allowance of ₹1,300.

The Chief Minister also announced the formation of a committee for the regularization (sanvilian) process, whose results will be shared soon. He emphasized continuous improvements in district cadre formation, service conditions, training, digital platforms, and technical resources for Panchayat Secretaries.
Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the importance of strengthening the Panchayati Raj system, stating that a strong grassroots governance system will strengthen the state and the nation. Drawing an analogy with Lord Ram’s era, he praised Panchayat Secretaries for performing extraordinary work, similar to how Hanuman carried out impossible tasks for Lord Ram.
