In the film, Anasuya plays the role of a sex worker, who murders a policeman and runs away to a brothel.

Anasuya is the production designer

Anasuya started her career as a production designer. He was found for this film through Facebook. Actually, a friend of the actress, seeing her talent, had proposed her for an audition. Her impressive performance as Renuka in 'The Shameless' has earned her this honour. The entire team of 'The Shameless' is celebrating this.

Anasuya has been selected for Best Actress in the Un Certain Regard segment of the Cannes Film Festival. After winning the award, Anasuya dedicated it to the bravery of the gay community and marginalized communities.

Anasuya has designed the set of Masaba-Masaba

Anasuya Sen Gupta is originally from Kolkata. He started his career as a production designer. Let us tell you that the actress had designed the set of Netflix show Masaba-Masaba. Sharing her experiences in an interview, Anasuya said, 'When Constantin told me the news that our film had been nominated for Cannes, I jumped out of my chair.'
