ब्रिटेन की फार्मा कंपनी एस्ट्राजेनेका (Astrazeneca) अपनी कोविड-19 वैक्सीन (Covid Vaccine) में साइड इफेक्ट (Covishield Side Effect) की बात अदालत में मानने के बाद उसकी बिक्री बंद कर दी है। एस्‍ट्राजेनेका अब दुनियाभर से अपने कोरोना के टीके को वापस ले रही है। कंपनी का कहना है कि दुनियाभर में मांग कम होने के बाद वैक्सीन वापस ली जा रही है। एस्ट्राजेनेका ने 2020 में ऑक्सफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी के साथ मिलकर कोरोना वायरस से लड़ने के लिए ये वैक्सीन बनाई थी। इसके फॉर्मूले से भारत में सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट (Serum Institute of India) ने कोवीशील्ड (Covishield) नाम से वैक्सीन बनाई थी। वहीं, ब्रिटेन और ऑस्ट्रेलिया में इसे 'वैक्सजेवरिया' नाम से जाना जाता है। देश के करीब 175 करोड़ लोगों को कोविशील्ड की डोज गई।

British pharma company AstraZeneca has stopped the sale of its Covid-19 vaccine after admitting in the court that it has side effects (Covishield Side Effects). AstraZeneca is now withdrawing its corona vaccine from across the world. The company says that the vaccine is being withdrawn after reduced demand worldwide. AstraZeneca created this vaccine in 2020 in collaboration with Oxford University to fight the corona virus. From its formula, Serum Institute of India had made a vaccine named Covishield. Whereas, in Britain and Australia it is known as 'Vaxjaveria'. About 175 crore people of the country got the dose of Covishield.
