Bhopal, November 1, 2025: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the Madhya Pradesh Vision Document @2047, developed with public participation, laying the foundation for a self-reliant and developed New Madhya Pradesh. The document aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat @2047 vision and will play a leading role in realizing it.

Document Developed through Grassroots Suggestions

The Vision Document has been prepared based on suggestions received from district and panchayat levels across the state. It reflects the aspirations of the people and provides a roadmap for the next two decades to build a prosperous, self-reliant Madhya Pradesh.

Key Announcements and Launches

  • Development Contract for Ujjain Airport signed in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu.
  • Announcement of Omkareshwar Sanctuary Development covering areas in Khandwa and Dewas districts.
  • Launch of MP e-Seva Portal, Invest MP 3.0 Portal, and Wash on Wheels Mobile App.
  • Rewa–New Delhi and Rewa–Indore flight contracts handed over to Alliance Air and Indigo Airlines respectively.

Fourth Airport in Two Years: Ujjain Airport

Within the last two years, Madhya Pradesh has developed airports in Rewa, Satna, and Datia, and Ujjain will now become the fourth. The new airport will benefit devotees and travelers, bringing the state’s total number of airports to nine. Contracts for PM Shri Heli Tourism Services were also awarded for three sectors.

Digital Governance and Transparent Services

The MP e-Seva Portal will bring the entire government onto a single screen, offering citizens 500 online services initially, expanding to 1,750 soon. The Invest MP 3.0 Portal will simplify industrial and investment processes digitally, and the Wash on Wheels App will enhance sanitation services through mobile technology.

Employment and Investment Opportunities

CM Yadav declared 2025 as the Year of Investment and Employment. The state received investment proposals worth ₹30 lakh crore, with ₹8.44 lakh crore already approved, expected to create over 6 lakh jobs. In the last two years, over 8.25 lakh people have been employed. The government aims to create 2 lakh government jobs in the next three years.

Agriculture, Tourism, and Infrastructure Development

The CM emphasized agriculture as the backbone of the economy. Initiatives such as the River Linking Project, Solar Irrigation Pumps, and Wildlife Tourism Expansion will enhance farmers’ income and boost eco-tourism. Efforts are also underway to connect remote regions through new rail lines such as Indore–Manmad, which will strengthen trade and connectivity.

Union Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu:

Praised CM Dr. Yadav as a symbol of public service and said that Madhya Pradesh is advancing by combining innovation and tradition. The Vision Document reflects progress “from Om to AI,” showing the state’s evolution from spirituality to technology.

NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Dr. Suman K. Bery:

He stated that Madhya Pradesh, rich in biodiversity and natural resources, truly represents the heart of India. The Vision Document aligns with PM Modi’s goals for a developed India by 2047. He suggested enhancing women’s participation in employment and entrepreneurship.

Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain:

Explained that the Vision Document is built upon three pillars — Happiness, Prosperity, and Culture. With 97% farmers digitally registered, MP is number one in digital agriculture. Three new AI Cities will be developed, making MP the first state where the entire government operates from one screen.
