The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to start e-Cabinet meetings in the state. These meetings will be completely paperless, and online proposals will be sent to the ministers. This system will bring efficiency and transparency to administration. Madhya Pradesh will be the second state after Uttarakhand to launch e-Cabinet meetings.
The government has decided to introduce e-Cabinet meetings in MP. The move will bring efficiency and transparency to the administration through paperless meetings. The National Informatics Centre (NIC) has developed the portal for this system. A training session for officials was conducted in December to explain how to use the portal. Uttarakhand started this system four years ago, and now Madhya Pradesh is implementing it by introducing e-filing across various departments in the state government offices.
Departments such as Finance, Cooperation, and others have already adopted e-filing. The Chief Minister's office has also started working on it. Building upon this, the government is now set to implement the e-Cabinet system. In this regard, training has been provided to Deputy Secretaries, Under Secretaries, Section Officers, and staff from 28 departments. Additionally, training is being provided to personal staff, personal secretaries, and assistants of the council of ministers.
Officials from the General Administration Department have stated that ministers will now receive proposals online for administrative approval, and all processes will be carried out online. To ensure the smooth operation of this system, all ministers will be provided with tablets.
