Madhya Pradesh Set to Develop Low Earth Orbit Satellites, Boosting Digital Data Transfer Speed
For the first time in India’s history, the government has announced major space reforms. We have a communication satellite license, and with this capability, we will create a digital highway in space. This will enable the secure and fast transfer of important data related to education, healthcare, and other critical sectors from one place to another.
These insights were shared by Dr. Subba Rao Pavuluri, Chairman and Founder of Ananth Technologies, during an exclusive discussion with Naiduniya. He stated that he will soon hold discussions with the Madhya Pradesh government on this subject. Since the state is drafting its Space Tech Policy, he intends to meet its representatives. If the state government shows interest, the company is ready to invest. He expressed his desire that the digital highway in space should originate from the land of Madhya Pradesh.
Contribution of Ananth Technologies to India’s Defense Systems
Dr. Pavuluri revealed that Ananth Technologies has contributed its technology to the Akash Air Defence System, BrahMos missile, and various drones. The company developed navigation systems, onboard computers, and interface systems for these platforms.
During Operation Sindoor, a BrahMos missile launched from Indian territory destroyed a Pakistani airbase located 600 meters inside Pakistan. The debris recovered afterward showed components manufactured by Ananth Technologies, and even Pakistani media displayed them. The long-range visual and explosive-carrying drone technology used in the operation was also developed by the company.
Upcoming Space Tech Work in Madhya Pradesh
Once the Space Tech Policy is implemented in Madhya Pradesh, companies and startups will be able to work on mid-stream and down-stream segments of satellite technology. Mid-stream work will include research on new satellite components and manufacturing some of their parts.
