Madhya Pradesh to be Honored by President Droupadi Murmu for Tribal Empowerment Excellence

Madhya Pradesh has once again demonstrated its leadership in the field of tribal empowerment. The state has been ranked among the top five states in India for the outstanding implementation of the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan, an initiative by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.

On October 17, President Droupadi Murmu will honor Madhya Pradesh during a National Conclave in New Delhi. Representing the state, Principal Secretary of Tribal Affairs, Gulshan Bamra, will receive the award and present innovations under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.

Special Recognition for Districts and Individuals

  • Shivpuri district will receive special recognition for its outstanding performance under the PM Janman Yojana.
  • Betul district is listed among the top-performing districts in the country under the Adi Karmyogi campaign.
  • In the Master Trainer category, Sarika Dholpuriya will be honored individually.
  • Special mentions include contributions from the districts of Betul, Dhar, Khandwa (East Nimar), and Barwani.
  • State-level super coach JP Yadav and the Integrated Tribal Development Agencies of Barwani, Betul, and Shivpuri will be awarded for notable activities.
  • Under the Dharti Aba Janbhagidari Abhiyan, Guna, Burhanpur, and Vidisha districts will also be honored for excellence.

Achievements under Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan

So far, Village Action Plans have been prepared and approved by Gram Sabhas in over 14,000 villages. More than 13,000 Adi Seva Kendras have been established, offering services like Aadhaar, Ayushman Card, Jan Dhan, Caste Certificate, Kisan Credit Card, and Ration Card with 100% target achievement.

The state has developed an extensive training framework including:

  • 12 State-level, 287 District-level, 12,000 Block-level, and 18,150 Cluster-level Master Trainers.
  • Over 1.41 lakh Adi Sahayogis and 1.92 lakh Adi Saathis are actively participating in the mission.

This campaign showcases Madhya Pradesh’s historic achievement in making tribal communities more self-reliant, aware, and empowered through service, determination, and dedication.
