Madhya Pradesh and DP World Sign MoU in Davos
In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on January 21 in Davos between the Government of Madhya Pradesh and DP World, a leading global logistics and supply chain company headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh Government by Additional Chief Secretary Shri Neeraj Mandloi, while Mr. Anil Mohta, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial & Business Development Officer, signed on behalf of DP World. DP World Group Chairman Mr. Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem was also present on the occasion.
Through this MoU, both sides agreed to collaborate on industrial development and investment cooperation, which has the potential to provide new momentum to logistics, infrastructure, and commercial activities in Madhya Pradesh.
DP World expressed its commitment to explore investment and partnership opportunities in the state. This initiative is considered an important step towards connecting Madhya Pradesh with national and global supply chain networks. On the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav shared detailed information about the state's industrial policies, investor-friendly environment, and robust infrastructure.
Senior officials from both sides were present during the MoU signing, and the agreement documents were formally exchanged. This MoU is expected to play a crucial role in developing Madhya Pradesh as a strong hub for logistics and trade.
