Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that it is our good fortune that Madhya Pradesh is the parental home of the major rivers of the country. The Narmada and Tapti rivers of Madhya Pradesh not only make their parental home i.e. Madhya Pradesh happy and cheerful, but they are also filling Gujarat with wealth and grains. The origin of the Son river is from Amarkantak in Madhya Pradesh, which meets Ganga ji in Bihar and enriches the flow of Ganga ji. The Chambal river originating from Madhya Pradesh gives life to Rajasthan. These rivers are the life givers of Madhya Pradesh. This campaign started from Surat is a campaign to give life. He said that Madhya Pradesh is ready to walk step by step to achieve the objective of Jal Sanchay- Jan Bhaagidari program. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has paved the way to make the water of Narmada river available to Rajasthan as well, while ensuring the cordiality of mutual relations of the states and the use of every drop of Narmada water. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is a problem of water in Gujarat and it is the duty of all of us to help them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the "Water Conservation - Public Participation - Public Movement" program in Surat, Gujarat under the "Catch the Rain" campaign running under the National Water Mission.
