Madhya Pradesh to Launch 'Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhata: Independence Celebration with Cleanliness'
The General Administration Department has issued instructions for the 'Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhata: Independence Celebration with Cleanliness' campaign, which will be conducted in three phases across Madhya Pradesh.
Phase 1 (2nd to 8th August)
The first phase will focus on raising patriotic awareness and organizing public programs, discussions centered around the Tricolor flag. Activities include art inspired by the Tricolor, exhibitions, Rangoli with the Tricolor, making Tricolor Rakhi, Tricolor weaving, Tricolor quiz, self-service for the Tricolor, Tricolor decoration and lighting arrangements, and writing letters to military personnel and police officers.
Phase 2 (9th to 12th August)
The second phase will focus on bringing people together, spreading awareness, ensuring availability of flags, and enhancing the visibility of the Tricolor at public places. Activities include a Tricolor fair featuring local products, Tricolor desserts, Tricolor bike/cycle rallies, a Tricolor march with high public participation, Tricolor flag sales and organization, creating human chains, and singing the Tricolor anthem.
Phase 3 (13th to 15th August)
The third phase will involve the display of Tricolor flags at homes, offices, and vehicles, uploading selfies, ensuring Tricolor visibility everywhere, and continuous information exchange with the Ministry of Culture. Important programs such as setting records with the Tricolor and ensuring Tricolor visibility across the region will also take place.
Conclusion and Collaboration
This campaign is based on the spirit of collective celebration and citizen unity, linking the essence of freedom with cleanliness and sustainability. In rural areas, the campaign will involve the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM-G) and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), promoting water conservation and cleanliness activities, especially through village and gram panchayat initiatives.
Active participation from districts, blocks, and gram panchayats will be ensured. This initiative will also support the Prime Minister’s resolve for a cleaner and healthier India.
