In Madhya Pradesh, the State Council of Ministers yesterday approved the proposal to open Vrindavan Gram in every development block and Gita Bhawan in urban areas. In Vrindavan Gram Yojana, one village will be selected from every development block, in which horticulture and medicinal farming will be promoted along with milk production. Work will be done to encourage cow dung based activities, build cowshed, promote solar energy in all houses, arrange for community toilets, playgrounds, promote collection of minor forest produce. At the same time, Gita Bhawans will be opened in all urban bodies. These will work as ideological study centers and will provide study material.
