Madhya Pradesh’s Groundbreaking GCC Policy 2025 Under Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Madhya Pradesh government has implemented India’s first dedicated Global Capability Centers (GCC) Policy 2025. This policy will propel the state toward becoming a center of innovation and technological excellence. It will pave the way for developing Tier-2 cities like Bhopal, Indore, and Gwalior as global operational hubs, offering competitive advantages for businesses looking to expand in India.
The new policy continues the success of the IT, ITES, and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy-2023 and reflects the state’s commitment to creating a robust GCC ecosystem and positioning Madhya Pradesh at the forefront of India’s technological development.
Key Focus Sectors of the GCC Policy
The GCC policy in Madhya Pradesh targets Level-1 GCCs for traditional operations and Advanced GCCs for high-value innovation. The policy is focused on sectors such as IT/ITES, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and other technology-driven industries. The state boasts 5 Special Economic Zones and over 15 IT parks, equipped with excellence centers dedicated to emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, and more.
Attracting Investment and Business to Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh has simplified investment and business establishment processes by offering single-window clearance through the "No Query Portal." Investors are supported extensively through the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation.
Under the new policy, companies will be offered various incentives, including 40% capital subsidy (up to Rs 30 crore), rent assistance, and payroll subsidies. Additional financial support will be provided for upskilling, re-skilling, marketing support, patent filing, and R&D expenses.
