भारत को साल 2024 के अंत तक अपनी पहली मेड इन इंडिया मेमोरी चिप मिलने वाली है। केंद्रीय मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने 11 जनवरी को इसकी घोषणा की। गुजरात सरकार ने दक्षिण कोरियाई कंपनी सिम्मटेक के साथ एक महत्वपूर्ण समझौता किया है, जिसके तहत गुजरात में कंपनी मेमोरी चिप का उत्पादन करेगी।

जानकारी के मुताबिक सिम्मटेक कंपनी सेमीकंडक्टरों के लिए हाई-लेयर प्रिंटेड सर्किट बोर्ड बनाती है। रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने वाइब्रेंट गुजरात ग्लोबल समिट 2024 के दूसरे दिन एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की। इस दौरान उन्होंने बताया कि कंपनी गुजरात में माइक्रोन के सेमीकंडक्टर प्लांट को सपोर्ट करने के लिए भी काम करेगी।
