• Boxing Glory for India: Indian boxer Jasmine Lamboria won the gold medal in the Women's 57kg category at the World Boxing Championship. She defeated Seremeta of Poland in the final, who was a silver medalist at the Paris Olympics 2024.
• Tourism Recognition: The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board received the Golden Banyan Award for Heritage Tourism – Best State. The award was presented at the Heritage Week Awards for preserving the state's cultural and historical heritage.
• UNESCO Tentative List: Tirumala Hills and Erra Matti Dibbalu (Red Sand Dunes, Visakhapatnam) from Andhra Pradesh have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tentative List.
• Athletics Milestone: Indian high jumper Sarvesh Anil Kushare became the first Indian to qualify for the high jump finals at the World Athletics Championships. He cleared 2.25 meters in the qualification round and ranked joint 9th overall.
• Senior Appointment: Retired IAS officer Amit Khare has been appointed as the Secretary to Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan. Amit Khare, a 1985 batch officer from the Jharkhand cadre, was previously serving in the PMO on social sector matters since October 2021.
• PM MITRA Textile Park: Among the 7 PM MITRA textile parks to be set up across India, the first one will be located in Bhainsola, Dhar (Madhya Pradesh). This will be the first park to integrate the complete 5F chain – Farm, Fiber, Factory, Fashion, Foreign.
