ISSF Junior World Cup in Delhi
The ISSF Junior World Cup is currently underway in Delhi. In the women's 50m prone rifle event, Anushka won the gold medal, Anshik secured silver, and Aadhya took bronze. In the men's category, Deependra Singh won silver and Rohit won bronze. The competition features 208 players from 19 countries, including 69 shooters from India.
Dubai Autonomous Zone by 2026
Dubai will launch a 15 km long Autonomous Zone by 2026. This will include driverless cars, robotaxis, robocabs, automated shuttles, delivery robots, and self-driving marine water taxis. MOUs have been signed with Uber and Veoride, and passengers can book rides through the Inpen app.
New Biosphere Reserves and Ramsar Sites in India
Himachal Pradesh's Cold Desert Biosphere Reserve has been included in UNESCO's World Network of Biosphere Reserves, becoming India's 13th biosphere reserve. Bihar's Gokul Reservoir and Udaypur Lake have been declared Ramsar sites.

MiG-21 Completes 62 Years of Service in Indian Air Force
The MiG-21, India’s first supersonic fighter jet, has completed 62 years of service. It participated in the 1965 and 1971 wars, the 1999 Kargil conflict, and the 2019 Balakot airstrike. During the Balakot attack, it shot down an F-16 aircraft.
