Lalu Yadav to Lead RJD for 13th Term

In accordance with the Election Commission's regulations and the party's constitution, Lalu Prasad Yadav completed the formalities of filing his nomination for the post of National President of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on June 23. This also confirmed his unopposed election to the position.

Lalu will be taking over the leadership of the party for the 13th time. He submitted four sets of nomination papers in front of the National Election Officer Dr. Ramchandra Purve and National Assistant Election Officer Chittaranjan Gagan.
