Ladli Behna Yojana: Monthly Allowance Raised to ₹1,500 from November 2025
The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has approved an increase in the monthly assistance provided to women under the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana from ₹1,250 to ₹1,500. The revised amount will take effect from November 2025.
Additionally, the cabinet approved the Omkareshwar Ekta Dham Project and the installation of solar rooftop systems on government buildings. New judicial positions will also be created for a court in Khandwa.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav chaired the cabinet meeting on November 10 at the state secretariat. Several key decisions were made, including the enhancement of the monthly amount under the Ladli Behna Yojana.
The Ladli Behna Scheme was originally launched in March 2023 with a monthly stipend of ₹1,000 for women. It was later revised to ₹1,250 in September 2023. Now, the cabinet has approved an additional ₹250 increase, bringing the total monthly assistance to ₹1,500.
The revised payment will come into effect from November 2025. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will transfer this month’s installment during a public program in Seoni district on November 12.
